popular-brown-leather-wallets-and-their-details

A sturdy and fashionable wallet, for everyone, is a great way to keep all of your small valuables safe and sound. Furthermore, it will also make you out to be a fashion-conscious person who’s out to show the world your style.

For such a small and personal item, fulfilling both aesthetic and functionality is quite a feat and all the more reason for you to get your hand on one. One of the most popular material brand wallets are made out of is leather. Leather will make for a very strong and durable wallet, while at the same time, being extremely fashionable and good looking, too.

And for a wallet, you can’t really go wrong with a brown colour tone. The leathery colour, no matter what shade it is, will exude just the classy look that you probably want on you once you walk out of the door.

Which is why, in this article, we’ll show you several brown leather wallets for you to choose from to satisfy all of your needs.

1. Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Ranger Leather Passcase Wallet

The wallet is guaranteed to have been made out of cowhide leather. Which is generally much tougher, last longer, and generally much more pleasant to carry than synthetic fabric or leatherette. The wallet is bi-fold, the most popular design for wallets all around that can be folded in two and unfolded easily.

Once you unfold the wallet, you can find one bill compartment to store all of your bank notes or any small documents within. For those who are in countries with limited cash usage, the single compartment is quite enough for daily usage. However, for other countries who still rely on cash for daily transaction, the wallet is quite short in capacity.

Next to that, you can find six slots to store all of your cards: Membership cards, credit cards, … And next to anything else of the same size and shape. Moreover, you can actually stuff several cards into a single slot at once.

The actual magic and unique feature of this wallet is when it comes to all of your sensitive cards, such as banking cards. The wallet has RFID protection, that means high-tech criminals can’t steal your banking or personal information through radio signals.

There’s also a removable pass holder with ID window, if you have driver license, or student ID, it will take care of you just fine.

And better yet: It comes with a gift box! Personally, for me, the gift box is a very strong selling point for this wallet beside the item itself. You can give this to a friend on special occasions without missing a beat and it will still be appreciated.

The wallet also comes in nine different colours, not just brown, and will fit seamlessly with anyone’s taste.

2. Lethnic Slim Wallet RFID Front Pocket Minimalist Wallet with ID Window – Genuine Leather

Many people do not like to carry a bi-fold wallet, since they have a tendency to be bulky once stuffed up. And the size might make it a chore to carry around. That’s why it’s quite a good idea to have on hand a minimalist wallet, instead.

The Lethnic Slim Wallet is made from pure leather and it might make some people happy to know of the inclusion of the natural, classy material. The wallet is truly small, and there’s no doubt it can fit any pocket size and places. It is only about the size of an adult’s palm, but the functionalities it provides seriously dwarf its size.

Due to the wallet’s inherent design, aiming for minimalism, not a single inch on the wallet is not put to use. And personally, for me, its simplicity and utilitarian design is a large plus.

The entire ‘Front’ of the wallet is designed to be an ID window. You can put anything from ID or business card and can be accessed in an instant. At the back, you have about 4 card slots that you can use to store all of your important cards. The wallet has a large pocket that can be accessed from the top for you to store all of your bills. The bill compartment may not be large enough for you to store an absurd amount of cash, but it is sufficed for daily usage.

It is RFID protected, as long as you keep the chips of your cards facing into the wallet, you’re safe.

Lastly, the wallet has 30+ color options in general. It is not as diverse as Tommy Hilfiger’s, but it will satisfy the majority of users with alternatives beside usual black and brown.

3. Dockers Men’s Extra Capacity Leather Bifold Wallet (Standard & RFID Blocking)

View here

Dockers is, at the moment, among one of the most popular name in the small wallet making industry. And with this wallet, straying from the pure, 100% leather approach of Tommy Hilfiger, they use synthetic materials to improve strength and longevity. Mixing in some leather, and they had made quite a good wallet for your consideration.

The wallet is definitely much less visually striking than the other two Tommy Hilfiger’s product. The anchor logo of Dockers is debossed on the bottom corner of the wallet will take a very good pair of eyes to see.

But they have made it up quite well by improving the overall design of the wallet into quite an eye catching one. The stitching lines in the brown version is a lighter tan, making the edges of the wallet look neater and well made.

However, instead of pure cowhide leather, as I’ve mentioned, Dockers took a more artificial approach. The wallet is made from a combination of 25% split leather, and 75% polyurethane. There’s no doubt that the addition of polymer into the material will make it stronger as a result. But if you’re one for the traditional, classier, full leather wallet, this might not be for you.

The wallet is bi-fold, and has roughly nine slots for you to store all of your personal cards. There is also a flap that has a transparent ID window for you to conveniently display your ID or trinkets.

The singular bill compartment is spacious enough to store all of your bills if you need. But might be a little bit itchy to use if you have a preference for cash. You will have to store all of the currencies in a single space, and that can be confusing.

The RFID protection layer is a large bonus, and will protect you against electronic pickpockets as long as you keep it closed.

The downside to this wallet is that it’s not as diverse in colour as the previous wallets I’ve introduced. The Dockers only has two options: Brown or black, and it’s a serious bumper if you have a more colourful preference.

4. Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Leather Cambridge Passcase Wallet with Removable Card Holder

View here

This is a good wallet to achieve a low-profile, covert appearance. Opposite from the previous Tommy Hilfiger’s wallet I’ve shown you, this one has a smaller emblem to it and less visible. The wallet won’t steal all of your spotlight and focus all of the eyes onto it, instead of onto you.

The smaller logo patch is now stitched to the corner of the wallet. It is still fashionable and stylish once people look at it carefully. The stitching lines is contrasted and blend into the colour of the leather. This makes it look considerably more luxurious, and the leather material brings the rich aura out even more clearly.

The cowhide leather is guaranteed to be real, and as said, it gives the wallet a stronger build, texture, as well as complimenting its look. The wallet is bi-fold, following the trend of the atypical Tommy Hilfiger’s wallet line.

Along with the numerous card slots, my favourite addition to this wallet is the inclusion of two bill compartments. It makes storing cash a much less confusing business. This is a nice change from the previous wallet we’ve shown you.

The wallet has a removable passcase that you can use to transport your important IDs around. This feature was praised by many, and definitely is the highlight of the wallet.

The Cambridge is also RFID-protected, to give you a peace of mind.

Once again, with this wallet, you’re also offered nine colour options you can choose prior to making an order. In a couple of weeks, it will arrive at your house in a neat, good looking box. You can put around the house or can gift it someone else, either way, the box is a beautiful one. And that is not only for me, but also for a lot of customers who had bought the wallet.

5. Fossil Men’s Derrick Front Pocket Bifold Wallet

To some, the wallet might seem nondescript and bland in appearance compared to others. The Fossil logo is debossed to the leather at the bottom corner of the wallet’s front.

The wallet is not meant to be appreciated design wise, rather, it is much more made for beholders to appreciate the leather’s texture, instead. Which has much more clarity and feels to it more than all of the previous wallets. This maybe is the best part of owning and using the Fossil’s wallet.

It is bi-fold, and only made to cater to the most pressing needs such as storing bills and cards. You have six card slots that you can stuff in several cards at once with no problems from their size. And one bill compartment, it is a little bit troubling if you have to use a lot of cash, as always with wallets with singular bill compartment. But the quality of the wallet and the class it shows may worth the small inconvenience.

But that’s all of the goods it can do for the higher price tag to the other wallets on the list.

The wallet does not have an ID window. That can be a bummer to some, but for a lot of potential customers, this might not be that much of a problem. Some more critical problems to the wallet is that it’s not RFID protected. Which means that electronic pickpocketing can be a real problem to you once you hit the streets.

Lastly, the wallet is only available in one colour tone that is brown. So, if you don’t really like the brown tone or have other colours in mind that would go better for your personal style. This isn’t really that good of a choice.

What more, the price tag is discouraging for the many disadvantages it had. At $24, it is seriously much more expensive than the wallets that have more functionalities I’ve previously shown. Which hovers somewhere between $10 to $15.

But if you’re up for a genuine and classy wallet that can fulfil a basic need and complements your style. Especially when you have the money to back it up, it’s not that bad to give it a try.

6. Genuine Leather Wallet Mens Trifold RFID Blocking

View here

While most leather wallets in the list have done quite a good job at bolstering your style. Not a lot of them focus specifically on providing you with the best protection possible against electronic pickpocketing.

For an electronically hardened wallet, this wallet from Access Denied does very well in the aesthetic department. The wallet is tri-fold, which means it’ll open to three flaps instead of two. For this design, the wallet is significantly more spacious and can store much more at once instead of an average bi-fold.

And the wide assortment of spaces, pockets, and slots this tri-fold provides is one of my favourite thing in it. The wallet has 7 credit card slots, 3 slip pockets, 2 bill compartments, and an ID window. It will cater to even the most extreme storing needs.

This wallet also has point for its pure leather construction. Specialised items are often having a rough and coarse appearance for the trade between look and functionality. But Access Denied made it quite appealing with the neatly done stitches and the leather’s grainy texture.

Talking about this wallet, we can’t forget the RFID layer, either. It is made with an ‘Exclusive’ technology, and complies with FIPS-201 specifications. Something that not a lot of RFID wallets had made claim of appeasing, thus far. But no matter the technical details, the wallet can, without a doubt, protect your identity and data at the best level a wallet can offer.

Another point for style, the wallet has eight colour options you can choose from when making an order for the wallet. And it will later arrive in a relatively nice-looking box. You can use it as a gift without going through the problems of wrapping just fine.

If you have some money to spare and would like your electronic security to be guaranteed at all time, this is a worthy investment.

7. Alpine Swiss Men’s RFID Blocking Genuine Leather Slim Bifold Wallet

View here

This is a particularly good-looking wallet that balances look and functionality rather perfectly. The Alpine Swiss’ wallet has such a nice look and texture to it that’s really hard not to like it from the first look.

The wallet is bi-fold, and seems to aim more toward those who only carry essentials around. Such as a few cards and a couple of bills, not a lot. This thought is conveyed quite clear once you open it. The wallet only has three card slots, and one hidden pocket behind the slots. Next to the card slots is a large ID window for you to store your passcases or whatever identifications that you need. And lastly, up top, is a singular bill compartment the length across the entire wallet.

And doesn’t offer much storage wise, but it has quite some value as a fashion accessory.

The wallet is made from pure, genuine leather and has a rather smooth, fine texture. The stitches running around the wallet and putting it together is nicely done.

And the most attractive feature of the wallet is the Swiss Alpine logo at the bottom corner of the wallet in full colours. It’s relatively small, but it’s still visible to the eyes while you’re using it. Within the wallet, there is also the Swiss Alpine logo debossed onto the leather. It makes for a rather visually stimulating sight mixing with the leather’s colour.

The strongest suit of the wallet is its RFID protection technology. The wallet is tested for 13.56 MHz where credit cards operate, guaranteeing you security for your most critical cards.

The wallet is a bit lacking in the colour department with only three colour options to choose from. There is black, brown, and grey. The offered colours are not quite colourful in any sense, but it’ll suffice.

8. Levi’s Men’s RFID Blocking Extra Capacity Leather Slimfold Wallet

View here

When it comes to leather, nobody can do it better than Levi Strauss. The wallet carrying the name is quite a piece of work when you take time to examine it.

The wallet is bi-fold type, although once opened it will also have a third flap to boot. This design in turn creates a wallet that has a lot of nooks and crannies. You can store many things from trinkets to multiple cards and bills without much troubles using it.

And true from what you can see, the wallet has roughly 9 card slots. Each slot can carry much more than one card at once. So, the number of cards you might have to carry doesn’t matter much when you carry this wallet. There are also two hidden pockets that can comfortably fit small documents and slips of papers such as receipts.

On the third, extra flap within the wallet, beside three more card slots, there’s also an ID window. The window is meshed and isn’t transparent, so it’s built for you to quickly pull out your ID more than presenting it directly. Which can be a hassle for some.

Aesthetically speaking, the wallet is a good one. It is made from coated leather and the stitches are all precise and neat, making the linings all the way more attractive. The Levi’s logo is embossed at the front rather dimly. If you don’t purposefully look for it, you can easily miss the logo and no one could really blame you.

The wallet also has RFID protection added in, making the relatively expensive price a bit more worth it in relation to its true value.

There’s no colour options for this one, it is defaulted to a dark brown colour. If you have a complex colour palette in your style, well, this one might not be as appealing to you compared to others.

9. Levi’s Men’s RFID Blocking Extra Capacity Leather Trifold Wallet

View here

This is probably the best looking tri-fold wallet I’ve seen thus far, and there is more than one reason why it is so. Even if Levi is known for making quality leather products, this is an excellent tri-fold wallet for even the industry’s standard.

Opening up, the wallet has four main sections: Three folds, and a single, extra flap. The last inch of space on each of them were put to use effectively. So, there’s no doubt that the wallet can carry much more than the average tri-fold wallet.

It has nine card slots, in congruent with the previous bi-fold wallet I’ve introduced before, surprisingly. But for the extra size the tri-fold has, you can expect the slots to be more spacious in comparison.

The extra flap houses two ID windows, which is more than an average person’s need. But it’s always good to have a backup, or if you’re one who had many ID on you. It’ll be a very valuable thing to have on hand.

Lastly, it has three slips: Two hidden pockets, and one bill compartment. Although there’s only one bill compartment, the longer length the tri-fold wallet has over bi-fold will make carrying bills easier.

The wallet, once again, is made from coated leather, which is synonymous with Levis Strauss so there’s no surprise. The stitching is in a blended colour with the leather, making it less visible, and bringing the attention on the texture of the leather.

And much like the previous wallet, the tri-fold also comes with RFID protection. You are ensured with electronic protection. But just like the bi-fold, you don’t have any colour option beside dark brown, either. It can dampen your style, but if it fits with what you wanted, this is one of the best tri-fold wallet out there.

10. Lethnic Slim Money Clip Wallet, RFID Blocking Bifold Leather Business Card Holder

View here

This is the most visually stunning wallet on the list. If you’re one with a very picky fashion sense, this one is definitely a good deal.

The bi-fold, first and foremost, has a much more different layout than the majority of wallets on the market. Right at the front of the wallet, there is a slip to put all of the things that you would want to access the quickest. Things such as ID cards, bills would go here and you can retrieve them with great speed.

Once you open the wallet, you would notice that it doesn’t have tiered card slots. Instead, the slots come in the form of vertical slits on two ends of the wallet. They can store up to 7 cards at once, but with some works, you can stuff even more.

It is important to note that the bi-fold wallet is a hybrid between a mainstream wallet and a money clip. There’s no bill compartment to be found, instead, there’s a pin for you to clamp all of your bills securely down. And if you value the less complex design, this is the perfect wallet.

It is made from genuine leather, and formed into stunning crocodile hide pattern. Not only it will give the wallet a great style and look to it, it will work very well in improving your personal image.

Besides being RFID protected and looks rather good, it has up to 12 different colours for you to choose from. This ensures that it will fit any styles, no matter how colourful or complex, and you need not to worry about it.

Conclusion:

A wallet is an important item to have no matter who you are and what your background is. Having a good one will not only improve your overall style and appearance. It will also allow you to be more flexible with keeping your valuables and moneys.
